The North Texas T-buckets had their first Dyno Day on Sept 7th. Real Performance Motorsports of Lewisville Texas performed the dyno runs. We had 9 cars get on the dyno.
The results are posted on the NTTB Website at http://www.northtexas-t-buckets.com (http://www.northtexas-t-buckets.com/news.html).

Looks like you gots the most HP of the group. It's easy to say I got 300+ horse power but it's another thing to prove it. Our buckets are so light some times it seems like we got more HP than we really do.

Well I think I had a little advantage. I was the only one with a supercharger, even if it is only a little Weiand 142. I did my research and had the small block built to my specs to handle the blower. It has a forged crank, LT1 "pinked" rods, Keith Black forged blower pistons, Comp Cams 268AH-14 blower cam, crane roller rockers, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads with big valves, and an MSD ignition.

I think what surprised most of us is that out of 9 cars dyno'd, only two were rich, the rest of us were way lean. We also learned that there is a big difference between flywheel HP and Rear wheel HP.

It was alot of fun too. The shop only charged us $40 per car and it took about 2.5 hours to do all the cars. Each car did one pull, but had the option to do a second pull if they wanted to. If you could work it out, I think it would be cool to have a chassis dyno set-up for the bash.
