Hi all, our Spririt 27 has a 302 ford, and we are wondering if anybody has used shorty headers to run the exhaust inside the frame rail on these? everything i have looked at looks like it won't clear the steering box. THanks....

If you're trying to get the exhaust under and out the rear your best bet is probably going to be LimeFire headers.

I'm running block huggers on the '27, they are very tight to the frame on a SBC,But,
Speedway has a new item out that drops from the header flange and goes around the bellhousing.
It has a 10" drop so you can cut to clear stuff in the way of normal exhaust.I think it runs
about 40 bucks.
