What are the dimensions of the 27T chassis. I want to install an IFS as opposed to the transverse spring and straight axle.

With the dimensions, I can then check with various manufacturers to see what will fit. Also, I can then determine if the chassis needs to be stretched a bit so the tires are in the correct position to maintain, "The Look"!

The chassis is 27 inches outside to outside on frame rails at the front.

Frame rails are 2 X 3 inches.

The centerline of the front axle (straight axle) is 5 inches in front of the front crossmember.

You would have to extend frame to maintain standard wheelbase with an IFS.

If you need something else, let me know.

I recieved some info from a member of another site that has to do with Fiero's...I was hoping to use a Fiero front suspension...wrong dimensions...OH WELL!!

Now it's on to one of the Hot Rod shops to find an IFS that'll fit!
