can anyone help me out . ime missing something. on my dimmerswitch i dont know which wire comes from the power source??? when i check all three with a tester ime getting all three hot. help would be appreciated mike

I don't use a dimmer switch. I run the low beam to the park pole on the switch and hi to the headlite pole. One pull for lows, pull again for highs. This saves some room by not having a dimmer. If you have front park lights you can make them come on all the time by running them to the tail pole on the switch.

mine is like Ron's. A regular 3 position headlite switch has Off, Park (instruments) and Head. Which is what I have but wired the low beams into the Park terminal and the high beams into the Head terminal. There also is a 4 position switch you can find at Ron Francis and sometimes on ebay. Which will give you Off, Park (instruments), Low and High. It is not really needed plus Ron Francis want a bunch of buck for it, like $45. Just go to the auto supply and get a plain ol headlight switch for under $20 prolly.
