Thanks Guys, but what I'm having trouble with is trying to figure out the ignition wires. When I have the key in the on position, I have 4 hot wires and when I put it in start position I have 1 hot wire and the other 4 go away. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Rick

it sounds to me like you are getting feedback through the switch....typically you should have two wires hot to the starter and coil and two for the grounds. Check to see if you have a voltage drop across the starter someplace....it may be a simple fix

Hi Does anyone have a colored coded wiring guide for a chevy ignition? Would the neutal switch have anything to do with this? Thank you Rick
