View Full Version : ? about the fuel tanks for the Spirit car

Am i missing something here, because i cant seem to find the fuel tanks on the website anywhere. :confused: Another thing is, i kinda like the way the round fuel cells looks behind the body with out bed on some of the T's i see. They look like a round container that beer is sold in (cant think of the name) can anyone tell me were to locate one of thiese, or would i be better of with a reguler fuel tank instead.

there called a keg and any beer distributor or liquor store will have them

Yeah man that looks cool, i like how clean it looks on there to. If you can find out the website for it, that would be cool to. Lord know how stupified i am on a computer when it come to searching for stuff :eek:

Check the magazine stands for Dune Buggies and Hot VW's, you will probably find several ads for tanks similar to the one that Fred is using. Several years ago I was involved in high performance Volkswagens and did some business with a company in Datyon Ohio called Larrys off Road, it was close enough to Indianapolis that I could run over there on Saturdays, here is a link to there page of tanks: http://www.larrysoffroad.com/productCat77648.ctlg

We have RPM(Ron Pope) build our gas tanks.....they are a steel gas tank....I hear on ebay they have nice tanks for sell....
