Hello all,

Getting ready to order my 1927 Frame and rearend (Truck shipped items) and buy the rest as budget permits but I had a few quick questions to the more advanced builders out there. I am planning to build the 1927 roadster with a 350 SBC and 350 trans and am buying engine parts on Craigslist.com to save some cash.

What water pump should I purchase - long or short?

Not to short Spirtcars out of any money but I saw a Vega box for $199.00. Should I buy this to save some cash or is there a special mount that Spirt includes with theirs?

What is everyone doing for carpeting and firewall panel in their 1927's?

I know I should think about tire size but what would be a good rearend gear set to go with for cruising and light highway use?

Is there any way to build a rumble seat in the 1927 or does the Spirit fuel tank take up too much trunk space?

Thanks for your time,

Bruce I would say short water pump, $199.00 steering box, We have carpet, not sure on gears lots of variables, and there is no room for a rumble seat. I hope that answered some of your questions and thanks for your interest in Spirit. Happy hot rodding to ya. B.C.
