Default Material dimension

Greetings, another new guy. ?Looking to build a bucket from scratch. I've got a 426 hemi with a 671 roots blower for it. Need a sturdy frame so could someone suggest material dimension and do I need to use a hefty steel such as 4130 or better? I've built aircraft but never a rod. Thanks for any assistance.

2x4 with .250 wall thickness minimum. have spirit build you the perimeter frame, and build from there.
