I would hope Spirit does. But I would like to see what others think.

Default Body

I spent 4 months looking around at different companies (new and used) for kits, parts, bodies and what not. Also a friend has a Total Performance car (now Speedway) from a few years back when it was still TP, so I used that to compare to. I went with Spirit. Price was right and the guys worked with me to do some of the cutouts and glass work so I did not have to bother with it. So far I am Very Satisfied !

I don't think you can do any better than Spirit but you could spend more money. Their bodies are ready for drilling and finishing when you get one. The seams are almost ready for paint so you won't have to grind and fill as you might with some others. The glass is thick and very sturdy; smooth too. I have a 27T and the doors were fit perfectly as was the rear deck lid.

As long as they keep them thick (which Spirit does), my vote is for Spirit.

This video is long and the quality is not great but it does tell the T-five-O story.

Those are awesome vids. I too spent many years as a Deputy Sheriff so this was extra nice for me to watch. After seeing and reading all this it looks like i will be giving Spirit a call tomorrow. Sorry it took so long for me to reply. I have been out of pocket for a while. Thanks again for all the info guys.

So now I know the story of why Rick is such a devoted BucketHead, cool bit of history. His daughter sure has grown since that video. Any chance of importing the " I got a secret" thread to this site? As some of you know, I can't view anything on the other site.
