![]() I bought the basic aluminum radiator from Speedway and used mounting brackets to mount it to the frame. I then used rods from the windshield/body to two brackets on the top of the radiator. Well, after about 300 miles and a lot of body twisting the bracket at the top connected to the windshield rod broke.
I do not have a radiator shell, just the radiator. Do I need to have a shell to give me the support needed and not deal with the body twisting? See www.bobspaddywagon.net to see how it is mounted.

![]() If you don't need the supports for the windshield, I would mount the rods to the firewall. There would be a lot less twisting at a lower point.
