![]() bought 27 roadster rolling chassis from a friend in bad health he purchased car about 2-3 yrs ago from Spirit will have the car on the road so he can take a spin Anyway interested in how to attach a column drop and what size any info would be great as i'm new to this thanks

![]() it is thanks that is what I'll do it came with a straight steering column from speedway and Im not using it as T want tilt

![]() We use a flaming river tilt column. We use a 2.5 inch drop and the diameter of the column is 2"

![]() I am running a Speedway straight column. I made my drop from a 60hp flathead con rod. Fit good with room for a rubber bushing.

![]() There is a square bar support just behind the dash on my 29. That is what I mounted the drop to.

![]() The flathead rod column support is pretty nice Thanks for all the advice I've decided to do a little fiberglass work on the back side of the dash and make a drop . Spirit did the base support so my column angle has already been determined Might give the conn rod a shot
