Bruce Those are very encouraging words. Thank you. I got a little burnt out trying to promote the hobby and have been happy just building stuff lately. I'll try to start hanging here and hope the office guys get all the bugs worked out of this site.

Don't really know who the founding fathers of the T-Bucket Alliance or other name/s but you are probably in the top 5. And with your dedication and startup of a T-Bucket business, way back when, you have inspired many a soul to build a dream into reality with as little money involved as possible. There are others that need credit also that have kept the dream of owning an affordable hot rod at a lower cost that most couldn't afford otherwise.

My hat's off to you and the other manufactures who supply parts and turn key cars who have kept these little cars in the spotlight at the risk of losing money for information only. Don't ever get overwhelmed enough to just quit, and give up. Take a break as you said you had and get the old noggin to thinking of better things. The dream/our dream of having fun with these little cars is invigorating to the soul for young and old. Keep at it and thanx for all you have done and will do. One day I hope to meet you in person in Arkansas. Bruce

Now I know part of the history/story. Even though T-Buckets have been around longer than the start of the NTBA --there is others that brought this about as well as the styles and look of these little cars. Thanx, Bruce

I still check in here, to see if anything is going on. Unfortunately, nothing new to post about. I am getting ready to pull my 60hp flathead and 5 speed out of my roadster, and upgrade (I hope) to a 153 ci Chevy/powerglide combo. Will keep posted if there is any interest.
Would like to see this forum stay upright for sure.

Bruce as the company has grown and continues to grow with some exciting opportunity's we have as a % the T bucket is becoming much less. But with that being said Spirit still has a full commitment to innovation making the Tbucket safer, more comfortable to drive, and easier to build., We want to see the T bucket continue to be the most fun car you can have for the money. I am personally building a 27 right now and hope some of the new ideas will become new product options. After the 27 I also have some ideas I want to put into a 23 so you can expect Spirit to be on the cutting edge of the bucket business for a long time to come.

Mike, no, after they reformatted it became difficult for all the members to log in, so I have let it go to ashes. Too bad, put a lot of work building it up.

Back on 1-13-15 I asked here if they would be interested in me sharing with the 2000 members on my fb page this forum. They also are having problems signing up new members and just since Jan 13 we have an additional 214 more members, for a total of 2214. I feel bad that these members are sharing and documenting their builds on a fb page instead of a proper full featured forum that is searchable from all the search engines like google.

Bob we really want to get this forum back on track and see what happens. Sir William the I.T. guy has never been Johnny on the spot but he does know his stuff and I'm sure Josh is on him.

That's good, as I want all those fb members on my page to discover and enjoy forum life for all those great pictures and videos they have been posting. Its a win-win, but in the meantime I'm responding to all their posts and emails about not be able to register. I've been lucky lately as no one has posted to the fb post in awhile so as things go on fb, it is getting buried. I'll bump that post as soon as you guys say "go for it". It will be fun to see the power of fb for jump starting a deserving forum such as this one.

Default Forum issues

I hope you guys get the forum issues worked out. A searchable message board is much easier to navigate than a FB page. The ability to add pictures and provide commentary is most helpful to those of us working on our first build project. There is a wealth of information out there and you guys who have already learned from your mistakes and found solutions can readily help others. This is just the forum to do that. I have been a master mechanic for over 40 years and still find forums helpful whenever I am working on a problem.

I believe it will happen soon. Those are my feelings about a FB page too, even though it is my FB page. When I started it I had a couple of hundred T-bucket owner's email addresses so let them know. I had no idea it would grow to 2350 members so quick. I made the offer to introduce this site on Jan 13 and we have grown 350 more members since then.

One sure way to keep a forum active is email alerts when someone has posted in a thread that you have posted in. It can be set up during the registration process where the default would be receiving the alerts.
