We have a great faculty now and I'm feeling pretty good about the team here and hope to be able to start spending time on some marketing soon. We even had to turn down a TV opportunity because we have to stay focused on quality and meeting delivery dates before we do any thing else. I expect big things for Spirit in the near future and hope you all do to.

Wish I could have made to there a couple of weeks ago to the car show, and to visit with you at the shop. Seems we have been making a car show every weekend this year. The delivery has 5400 trouble free miles so far. Hope to have the interior completed next week. I am FINALLY returning the original rear hairpins that you replaced with longer ones. UPS will have them tomorrow.

The forum is going to be shut down soon. There is not enough interaction or traffic here to put any effort in it. We might come back with another forum/blog at another time. Thanks for all that have posted on here.

Hate to see it go, but I understand completely. A year ago there was quite a bit of posts being made, compared to very few now. Did you get the hairpins back that I UPSed to you?

Forums are a lot of work and you really ought to have a dedicated IT guy for one. You'll be seen and heard on the other forums I hope. Thanks

Yes they are a lot of work. Yes we are on a couple of other forums. We might start another one that is more user friendly later on day the road. We are hit with spam and this is an old format too.

Well, that is why I stopped by. My T-bucket forum was changed so much by the server farm that the members could no longer log in. I gave up on Lefora getting things back to normal and just started a FB page for T-buckets. We have over 2000 members and I can't speak for them but I prefer the forum format. I've always known Bob doesn't scrimp on things that he does and know this forum, like our Ts, is overpowered in the server department.

Would you or Bob be interested in me posting this forum on my FB site for my members there?

Bob

Hard to tell, too much unburned hydrocarbons. lol

I'm still waiting for a reply to my above post before I post this site on my FB T-bucket page. I prefer a forum format over FB and I wonder how the 2000+ members there would feel about a move. Don't want them to make the move if this site is on the verge of closing.

Frank, I have a T-bucket forum that was going good till the service changed things up and all the members could no longer log in. Running a forum takes some time, so instead I gave everyone a simple FB group and in about a year have over 2000 members. I want to go back to the forum format, and since this one could use some activity I thought it to be a good match. I don't want the folks from the FB site to go to the trouble of signing up here if Bob is considering closing it.

We have plenty of server to carry everything. The forum in my opinion needs a facelift and new software. I would really like to find a new software to use and maybe even change the name. Deckofficer you can post on your Facebook page about the forum if you would like.

This might explain why only you as a previous member made it here from the FB site....

"Allen Maberry - Bob Lemke, I am not seeing any pictures or even the 6 digits on the Register page so I can not sign up or finish the registry process, I can't even use the (Contact) because it also has the 6 digit code that I can't see, That I can't see, What do I do now ?
Thank You."

Hulk, can you help us out on this?

As soon as the new member sign up issue is resolved, maybe things will pick up even though it is the middle of winter.

Well I'm still here and only have older pictures to post. Check daily for new posts and not much anymore, [but] always see people reading and looking at this old site as B.C. calls it, looking for information. I don't do Facebook or Twitter for my personal security, as well as many other old timers, even though it is the going thing now. Enough is given out without even trying too, with spammers and hackers as well as bots that track you and your habits/likes. T-Buckets are GREAT and computers are a pain in the arse, but are just about essential to finding/buying or doing anything in today's world. Evey business doesn't have a brick and mortar building and a lot of company's sell on line only. Taxes I guess????

If Josh and B.C. can keep this forum up and running with just their Tech articles and also their builds, it would be a great help to those building a bucket. Free help is not a money maker I know, but just think___ it might be you meeting another bucket head on when his welded chain drag link fails and hits you!!!

Remember--A picture is worth a thousand words-- and a few words from the wise can make a man think about stupidity in an all new way if his own life is at stake as well as others. We all need as many pictures as possible to learn from about all aspects of building a hot rod as well as colors for them.

Keep up the good work and try to keep this site going. Thanx, Bruce
