FINALLY CHASSIS SEES IT'S FIRST SUNSHINE
NOTHING IS POWDER COATED. EVERYTHING THAT'S BLUE I PAINTED USING SHERWIN WILLIAMS AUTO PAINT--3RD DIMENSION 5.0 H.S. URETHANE ENAMEL OVER AN EPOXY PRIMER. THE BODY WHEN PAINTED WILL BE BASE-CLEARCOAT USING DRY PEARL.

ENGINE; 475BBC {454 BORED .100over} 1973 VINTAGE..CRANE CAM SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL,MANLEY VALVES,KEITH BLACK PISTONS,CLEVITE BEARINGS,ALL ARP BOLTS,EDELBROCK 500 CARBS,MALLORY IGNITION,FULLY BALANCED,DECKED,SQUARED,OVAL PORT 1972 *049* HEADS,GM TRUCK RODS.BLOCK WAS A 2 BOLT AND CONVERTED TO A 4 BOLT

TRANS; 1978 GM TRUCK TURBO 350,ALL B&M KIT AND PARTS,EXTRA CLUTCHES,BLUEPRINTED..3400 STALL CONVERTER

WHEELBASE IS 115in. SPIRIT BUILT THE FRAME TO MY SPEC. MOTOR SITS 2in FURTHER FORWARD

REAREND; 1999 S10 BLAZER 4X4,8.5 RING GEAR,3.73 GEAR WITH GM POSI,DISC BRAKES, ALUMINUM DRIVESHAFT

kcfatdawg FINALLY.. Body in final stages of paint.. Radiator grill shell done. Finished as a test for what's to be on body. It sparkles, tried out some glittery stuff from Planet Color and topped with 5 coats of clear.. Body will have traditional flames in a color that Sherwin Williams said not sure can be duplicated. It will be a ghost effect. This project has been 3 <LONG> years. Fired engine up last year and it scared the neighbors. And sure wished Barnfresh -Craig- was still with us to see it! 10-13-2008
kcfatdawg The wheelie bar setup came from Summit Racing. They are the 44 inch'ers with the weld-on brackets. Competition Engineering is the manufactures name. 11-29-2007
